Mentoring Techniques The concept of mentoring is nothing new. We have all been mentored, on an informal basis, at some time during our careers. An opportunity to discuss work challenges outside a line management relationship has often helped us view issues more objectively. The value of mentoring is gaining a growing appreciation as a positive change agent.
